Q: What is FitStickz?

A: A series of effective and fun body changing workouts all simplified for beginners to advanced ability levels expressed with cool stick figures (like me 🙂 ) and bright colors. The most unique health and fitness brand ever created.

 

Q: Is it good for beginners?

A: Absolutely. FitStickz is designed to be a doorway to fitness for anyone who has found it hard to understand the often confusing world of fitness.  There’s a lot of information out there. So FitStickz was created to help anyone understand proven fitness protocols in a simple and non-intimidating way.

 

Q: I am an experienced trainee.  I exercise a lot.  Is FitStickz worth my time?

A: Definitely. A lot of times people who have trained before are looking for fresh workouts and training plans. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or advanced, if you are interested in checking out a very unique fitness series that also covers challenging workout plan for advanced levels then we’re really pleased to help you.  I should add we have more books coming and some very challenging workouts for our advanced levels on the drawing board right now.

 

Q: Do I need equipment?

A: No & Yes.  Basically a lot of our workout books are body weight exercise based so you can do the workouts anywhere with no equipment.  But as you get comfortable with these plans its good to begin using weights, resistance and some specific proven tools to take your results to the next level. But if you want to focus on our non-equipment workouts to start then you use your own body weight and maybe something as simple as a towel. You certainly don’t need a whole collection of gadgets or a fully equipped home gym.  Here are the simple tools that we use in some of our books and are proven and highly recommended to add to your arsenal when you’re ready.

 

Q: Can I mix different FitStickz Books?

A: Definitely. Any FitStickz workout from any book can be used.  However each book has a set program you can also follow if you want a structured 4 – 8 week (sometimes longer) workout plan.

Tristan will also post new workouts here on the website and to your Inbox (join us here) that are great additions to the FitStickz plans. He’ll use exercises from the FitStickz books so you can easily reference them and their Private Video Classrooms.  This is a good way to try even more fresh workouts and they can be used as he lays them out or added into your current FitStickz workout where you see fit or where you fancy a quick, fresh workout change on a particular day.

Secondly: You can mix all and any of the workouts together to create a plan that is totally unique to you: for example:

Maybe you pick Book 1 to use for 2 weeks followed by a week of book 2’s workout plan and then 3 weeks of book 3 workouts etc.

Or perhaps:

You decide to create a unique 4 day training plan with Book1 Workout 2 / Book 2 Workout 4 / Book 2 Workout 2 / Book 3 Workout 4 etc.

Everything is designed to mix and match.  But again; you can simply follow each books workout plan as well for 4-8 weeks at a time.

 

Q: Do you offer other workouts not found in the books?

A: You can see the above answer for a bit more detail, but yes.  As well as the books workouts Tristan will post new plans and quick ‘go to’ workouts to try. We’re also going to make FitStickz workout posters very soon with new plans you can hang on the wall!

 

Q: Can I get FitStickz books in paperback too – I want to give them as gifts?

A: Absolutely.  In fact we just finished redesigning each one ready to go as paperbacks.  Also if you buy them as paperback the Kindle/digital version is discounted. Click here.

 

Q: Are there live links in the digital versions I can click to go to the Private Video Classrooms?

A: Because we created our books as ‘art’ books, right now with Kindle we cannot make the links live.  This is going to change and we’ll update all the digital books.  Instead you will see your private links to the videos and more in the ‘Links Library’ inside each book.  Simply copy that link into your browser on your phone, tablet or computer. This might have changed by the time you read this.

 

Q: I love this idea! Its a breath of fresh air. Where did the FitStickz idea come from?

A: Tristan created us because he wanted to make fitness simple and fun and completely different to what else is out there on the Internet. Note: I’m not simple, maybe Bo is, lol. Go here to read some more…

Q: I understand diet is so important – do you discuss it?

A: Yes.  Diet (or we prefer: healthy sensible eating) is very important. We began FitStickz with the goal of getting workouts into your hands.  However we are putting together our diet section and will be doing a book and also a full ‘healthy eating simplified’ (this is a working title) section for the site so you can understand the way to eat for your particular body to lose fat and see even better results with the FitStickz Books and workouts.  Join our ‘Insiders’ list and we’ll let you know as soon as its live. 🙂

 

Q: How often should I exercise per week?

A: FitStickz is typically laid out as 3-4 sessions per week.  The workouts are fast. We also have ab workouts you can use on ‘rest’ days as a lot of times we’ve found people using FitStickz love to add in our fast abs and core sessions.

 

Q: Are abs trained separately with FitStickz?

A: Yes & No.  FitStickz workouts use many exercises that will work your core and ab muscles simultaneously. These ‘compound’ exercises allow every workout to target the abs as well in different ways (stabilization, contraction, rotation etc) so you’re not just going to focus on a few ‘ab workouts’ per week.  The abs should support and stabilize your body and enhance natural movement not just be used in some afterthought workout added on once a week to hopefully help a person to ‘look good’. Everything you do in FitStickz will work your abs.  Alongside this we have created (Book 3 for example) focused abs and core workout plans that will really work your core in very unique exercise plans and can be added to any workout you do.

A: Well thank you! I love you too 😉  Tristan says he’s going to ask for readers help on occasions in coming up with future characters to workout alongside us. But I have asked if my friends can join us, I think he’ll say yes! (Watch this space).
